TIMING
AND AWARDS
Timing
All
events will be timed using the ChampionChip timing system to insure
accuracy and timeliness of the results. All times are recorded as
"Gun Time" Start and your "Chip Time" Finish.
Slower
Runners and Walkers are encouraged to take the "Early Start"
at 7:00 AM. If you take the "Early Start", your race time
will be calculated from 7:00 AM to the time you cross the finish
line.
You
must check in as an "Early Starter" before you begin the
race.
Overall Awards
Overall Men's and Women's
Awards will be presented to the top 3 men and women finishers in
each event.
Awards for Combined "Double"
Times
Awards will be offered
to the top three Men and Women in each age group for the fastest
combined times in each of the Four Durango Double combinatios.
- 50K and Marathon
- 25K and Half Marathon
- 50K and Half Marathon
- 25K and Marathon
Age Group Awards
The top 3 men and women
finishers in each age group will be recognized with awards.
The age groups have been divided into the following catagories:
Open 1 - age 25 and under
Open 2 - ages 26 - 39
Masters - ages 40 - 49
Grand Masters - ages 50
- 59
Senior - ages 60 and older
Durango Double
Plates
All finishers of the "Double"
will recieve a Mesa Verde-style plate personalized with their name
and achievement. Register prior to September 29, 2006 and
your plate will be available at Sunday's Post Race Block Party.
If you register after 9-29-2006
you may have you plate shipped to you for $15.00 to cover shipping
and handling.
All Plates will be inscribed
with your name and the "Double" you completed.
